Abstract
Allergy to fish is life-threatening and a lifelong immune disease. Current diagnostics are unreliable, which is further complicated by thousands of edible species. The allergen composition of over 100 Asia-Pacific fish species was investigated and 23 novel allergens registered. Findings are translated into improved diagnostics and management, including personalised medicine.
