Abstract
Ute Haring interpreted children's reactions to disasters/crises, as expressed through their drawings. She found commonalities in children's visual expressions of historical, natural and social disasters which could enable teachers to best help traumatized children. This research provides strong implications for practice as it caters for diverse learning needs and intelligences.
