Abstract

Shiori Kanno studied life history and habitat use if elasmobranch species that are closely associated with mangrove habitats. Shiori tested acoustic telemetry within mangrove habitats and found diel and seasonal changes of the pattern in mangrove habitat use of juveniles. Mangroves offer important refuge and nursery habitat for some species.
