Abstract

Ashneel Sharan developed 3D mathematical, machine learning, and digital twin models to manage saltwater intrusion in Pacific Island coastal aquifers. He demonstrated that optimal saltwater intrusion management strategies were effectively devised using advanced mathematical and machine learning approaches.
