Abstract

Lauren Taylor studied the role of a cell adhesion molecule in skeletal muscle regeneration. She found that this molecule, in combination with an adipokine, negatively regulates skeletal muscle regeneration. This data will have significant ramifications for improving muscle regeneration in patients with muscle loss.
