Abstract

Aim: This poster presents findings from a doctoral research project examining how academagogy, a learner-centred teaching model, can inform AI-based personalisation to support adult learners.

Background: Academagogy promotes personalised learning through scholarly leadership of educators (Winter et al., 2009), yet its application remains underexplored in blended learning.

Description: This study investigated how academagogy theory can be translated into design principles to inform AI-supported personalisation within a university-level Information Technology subject delivered through Blackboard system (Addanki, 2023).
