Abstract

This thesis employed underwater videogrammetry techniques to study dwarf minke whale biology and behaviour in the Great Barrier Reef. This approach offers novel insights into population demographics, growth patterns, and interactive behaviours, providing valuable data for conservation and management, and refining research methodologies for medium-sized cetaceans.
