Abstract
Kamal studied social dimension of protected area (PA) management in Nepal. Kamal found that local people living farther away from the PA office perceived fewer benefits but more costs than their fellow villagers living near the PA office. The results will support Nepalese authority to promote benefits and mitigate costs of PA management to local people in an equitable manner.
