Abstract

Kunal Pratap investigated the therapeutic potential of marine algal-based compounds for food allergy. He demonstrated the allergy-suppressing properties of purified polysaccharides from green algae and highlighted the crucial role of gut microbiome in modulating allergic diseases using in vivo models.
