Abstract
Gabriela Thompson’s thesis investigates dispersal and connectivity of kelp in the Southeast Pacific and mangroves in the central Great Barrier Reef. She developed a framework for identifying conservation priorities, highlighting critical connectivity areas and proposing connectivity-informed management strategies to enhance resilience. This approach offers a transferable model for marine conservation planning globally.
