Abstract
Denise Svane investigated how parents perceive their children's disengagement from education. Parents described feeling frustrated and distressed, citing slow recognition by schools, limited support, and a lack of formal interventions. These findings highlight a gap between research and practice, and the urgent need for earlier, evidence-based responses to disengagement.
