Abstract

This report details results from the October/November 2011 seagrass monitoring for the Port of Mourilyan, conducted as part of the annual long-term monitoring program. The seagrass monitoring program is used to assess the health of the port’s marine environment by using seagrasses as a key indicator of environmental health. The program also assesses the status of these important fisheries habitats and forms part of a network of seagrass monitoring programs established throughout Queensland.
