Abstract
Madelyn Pardon examined how individuals use water, perceive water-related threats and make decisions in the Townsville region, in order to provide recommendations for threat communication. She found communications should have a theoretical basis, target sub-groups in the population, and convey information about future water-related events to achieve the best outcomes for those most at risk.
