Abstract
[Extract] Family businesses play an important role in the local and global economy. Within China about 85% of private enterprises are family firms, while private enterprises account for about 60% of GDP and 80% of urban employment (Yang et al, 2019; SCIO, 2022). We discuss the case of a leading global plastic injection molding machinery producer located in the East of China.
