Abstract

Meg Davis explored resettlement experiences of former refugee women from African countries 2010-2020 into north Queensland. She concluded that women's sense of belonging and peace is limited by racism, experiences of male violence and continued labelling as a refugee. Conclusions determined implications for resettlement policy changes and region-centric social work and human service practice.
