Abstract
Tristan Gibbs studied the steam distillation extraction parameters of Qcide oil from Eucalyptus cloeziana biomass. It was found that the extraction yield and rate could be accelerated through increasing the distillation steam input flow rate, the distillation temperature, and the distillation biomass comminution. This data is being used to inform further research into optimal extraction parameters of Qcide oil, and to assist in the improvement of commercial extraction.
