Abstract
Susanne Devlin conducted participatory action research to develop a better understanding of tuberculosis with Aboriginal communities in northern NSW. Susanne found that tuberculosis is inherently a social disease. To end tuberculosis, health services must listen to Aboriginal people and work in partnership with Aboriginal communities. The findings are informing changes to Australian tuberculosis services.
