Abstract
[Extract] We acknowledge our distinct Countries, cultures and histories as Australia's First Peoples, and our ongoing connection and sovereignty over land and waters. We acknowledge the Elders of the past, the current generation of Elders, and the generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to come. We also acknowledge and affirm the Gadigal nation on whose lands the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives (CATSINaM) took place, and the response to the apology was delivered.
