Abstract

Jane Oorschot studied employee engagement and the psychological contract through two studies. Jane's research found that psychological contract dimensions are influenced by leadership perspectives. The research also confirmed performance management and regular discussions with employees had more impact on employee engagement than a breach or violation of the psychological contract.
