Abstract

The work of art And No Eggs Hatch was made in response to the negative impact of anthropogenic litter sea birds due to ingestion and entanglement. Scientists predicted fifty years ago that it was unlikely that any marine birds will remain uncontaminated by the synthetic pollutants. Today, 90% of marine birds species have been impacted by plastic ingestion or entanglement and 95% of the individuals within these species have been affected. These works indicate how Artists employ symbolism, metaphor, and emotion to disseminate ideas. And No Eggs Hatched made from resin and plastic waste.
