Abstract
The French language is of geo-political significance for Australia. French language educators in Australia are the best placed to start helping transform the imagery of the Pacific so that we can better connect with some of our closest neighbours. We share an interwoven future with the Pacific Island nations, however it is impossible to care deeply about something we don't know exist
