Abstract
The Ningaloo Coast nominated property rates very highly in terms of universal value when compared to other world heritage sites. Six international locations, as well as two national sites (The Great Barrier Reef and Shark Bay) are compared on the basis of their similarity with the nominated site in terms of the outstanding universal value of their marine and/or karst features.
