Abstract
In this presentation, Dr Janet Buchan will describe how an integrated approach to academic development and the support of learning space initiatives is enabling one university to push the boundaries of the learning environment. The approach includes:
• Engaging with multiple stakeholders to support effective use of on-campus learning spaces
• Drawing on multiple research projects to inform learning space initiatives
• Exploring academic practice in diverse learning environments that range from new collaborative and peer-to-peer learning spaces, to specialist spaces, outdoor learning spaces, and beyond the campus to field-based learning spaces.
