Abstract

[Extract] In most areas in Malawi, temperatures are below 22°C except for the lakeshore region.Therefore, provision of low-cost technique to increase water temperatures should constitute an important means for Malawi to boost tilapia production including Tilapia rendalli. This study was conducted to determine if clear plastic sheeting would result in increased temperature and growth of T.rendalli.
