Abstract

[Extract] A conservative is a worldly person. To be worldly means that a person has a strong sense that there is a world outside of their own self. This world is not an artefact of personal desire, preference or choice, fantasy, piety or morality. Each one of us can add to the world but each of us is defined by, and limited by, the world that precedes us and outlives.
