Abstract
[Extract] The tropical rainforests of northern Queensland are home to the smallest and, in some respects, most unusual macropod. Although the Musky Rat-kangaroo is predominantly terrestrial, it occasionally climbs through fallen trees and branches using the extra grip afforded by its unique, opposable 'big toe'.
