Abstract

[Extract] This report presents the findings from an online survey which sought to determine the demographic characteristics, qualifications, experience and current employment status of workers in the Far North Queensland region who are interested in Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) work. In addition, it aimed to ascertain the level of interest these potential workers had in FIFO work and possible barriers faced in becoming part of the FIFO community.
