Abstract

Visual artists from regional centers in Queensland have brought their life-long learning, creativity and technical abilities to present ideas through the arts. The touring opportunity facilitates comparative humanities perspectives in contrast to science. Artists’ responses have been facilitated by a web site with artists’ statements and images. This was created during "leave no Trace" an artists' camp and workshop held at Wallaman Falls National Park, Qld.

Research Statement

Research Background Artists’ works contribute to the Habitas Habitat touring exhibition over 11 venues, and a website. Art works have been developed with an awareness of the artist’s role in presenting current responses to the environment.
