Abstract

Liane Barnes investigated spirometry quality broadly across different settings and cohorts, and then focused specifically on a breathless cohort in North Queensland. She discovered that spirometry was underutilised, of poor quality, and delivery was not matched to patient risk factors. Recommendations were made to increase use and quality at TUH.
