Abstract
This Seascape Management Plan (SMP) provides a strategic framework for investing pooled environmental offset funds into actions that secure long-term conservation outcomes for seagrass in the Dry Tropics. It consolidates five separate financial settlement offsets into a single program, ensuring funds are directed toward coordinated, measurable, and regionally significant outcomes in line with Queensland’s Environmental Offsets Policy and the Aquatic Ecosystem Rehabilitation Process framework. The SMP sets out a roadmap for assessment, prioritisation, and implementation of seagrass management and rehabilitation activities working with Traditional Owners, ranger groups, port authorities and regional stakeholders.
