Abstract

Seagrasses hold significant cultural and wellbeing value for Wuthathi people, as recognised in the Wuthathi Indigenous Protected Area and Healthy Country Plans (2023). This project builds on that foundation by updating and expanding knowledge of seagrass habitats across Wuthathi Karakara, while strengthening Wuthathi-led monitoring capacity and contributing to the development of a long-term, integrated monitoring framework for Sea Country.
