Abstract
Minh Ngoc Nguyen found a positive moderating effect of institutions on the relationship between FDI and innovations of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam. Improving the quality of local institutions is, therefore, imperative for Vietnam and other similar emerging countries to capitalise on the large amount of FDI inflows.
