Abstract
Priyanka Pokhrel explored critical gaps in managerial competencies of Nepalese senior hospital managers, examining barriers and operational challenges. Her research led to development of ECOS model, advancing the understanding of competency, capability and capacity development. Health authorities are now using these insights to inform systemic improvement in hospital management.
