Abstract

Bethany Smith developed, implemented and applied the Livelihoods-Based Risk Profiling Framework to support rural livelihoods adaptation in Solomon Islands. This research addressed the theoretical and practical limitations of earlier frameworks to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of community based adaptation efforts. Ultimately this aims to enhance the resilience of rural communities facing complex global change drivers.
