Abstract
[Extract] The title Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends (Croc) suggests an embrace of the ‘big and scary’. The first room of the exhibition opens to the gaping skeleton-mouth of the extinct African SuperCroc (Sarcosuchus imperator). It is a vision which inspires four-lettered exclamations. Yet, there is more to Croc than sensationalism. Croc is about the science and natural history of the crocodilian and the complexities of their relationships with humans.
