Abstract
Many athletes and gym attendees complete repetitions of the back squat until failure to maximise training adaptations but this practice can alter back squat movement patterns. Movement pattern differences during single repetitions of the back squat have been noted between sexes but the difference between sexes when fatigued is unknown. This study aimed to assess the key biomechanical differences between sexes during a set of back squats until failure.
