Abstract
Yielding and knowing may be familiar terms. But how do they connect to anthropological filmmaking and Chinese martial arts? This is a new way of looking at knowledge in the making. The author defines the relationship between the two arts and their experiential and physical ways of learning and understanding the world. Each art has its own aesthetic and ethical qualities. They are creative processes and embody an attitude towards life.
