Abstract
This thesis examines the socio-economic impacts of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) initiatives in the villages surrounding Borobudur Temple, Central Java, Indonesia. Employing qualitative methods, it highlights visitor resilience, stakeholder collaboration, and policy integration as key drivers of sustainable tourism. The findings provide actionable frameworks for enhancing CBT practices, influencing policy, and fostering resilient tourism ecosystems globally.
