Abstract
Juan Zaracho investigated wind loads and aeroelastic behaviour of solar trackers using wind tunnel tests on scaled models. Fluctuating wind loads and critical wind speeds for torsional galloping and divergence were determined for various tilt angles and wind directions. The influence of tracker geometry and multirow configurations on aeroelastic instability was analysed. Results offer insights for designing stable solar tracker systems.
