Abstract

[Extract] We thank Lima and Fontanetti [1] for their interesting commentary on our recent meta-analysis [2]. Their observations provide an excellent opportunity for refining and expanding the interpretation of our findings and the derived recommendations for future post-activation performance enhancement (PAPE) research.
