Abstract
Large language models are transforming HCI by enhancing creativity, efficiency, and accessibility. Overuse or inappropriate application of LLMs can lead to social isolation and diminished human connection. The focus should remain on using LLMs to augment human potential while addressing ethical and practical challenges. The intersection of HCI and LLMs represents a moment of inflection in the ongoing journey to augment human potential.
