[Extract] We read with interest the recent article of Bosley et al. entitled ‘Can Non-Neurosurgeons Operate on Traumatic Brain Injuries in Non-Metropolitan Areas? A Scoping Review’.

This is a topic of perennial interest among rural practitioners; however, the interpretation of these results requires some contextual nuance absent from their paper.
