Abstract

[Extract] Dear Editor, The theme of the upcoming CISTM19 in May 2025 is ‘Expanding the Horizons of Travel Medicine’. The quarter of a century old specialty has now, indeed, moved with the times and prides itself of having adopted the application of constantly evolving technology, such as Artificial Intelligence, but also gadgets and digital devices for advice, treatment and data collection, or novel vaccination technology.
