Abstract

The Chapter concerns the Queensland results of the 1961 Federal election, which almost led to the defeat of the Menzies Government. The chapter discusses why Queensland was disenchanted with the Menzies Government and what was done to shore up the Queensland Liberal vote by the time of the 1963 poll.
