Abstract

The research project investigated the effects of a novel trauma-informed program on the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men in the remote community of Aurukun. It was found that the program provided numerous benefits including improved mental health, self-esteem, social connection, cultural connection and leadership skills.
