Abstract

Rebecca Bourquin developed a drug screening platform for HIV-1 integrase. She characterised fluorescent protein-tagged integrase and used this to develop a simple quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay that can be used to find new therapeutics for HIV-1 treatment. This assay will be used for compound library screening in the future.
