Abstract

In our current global context, researchers are asked to:

• Create research impact • Collaborate across disciplinary and sector boundaries • Demonstrate quality and rigour • Build researcher capacity

We seek to demonstrate cultural values and approaches to enable development of sustainable research communities through the application of:

• Analytical inquiry principles, • The faces of informed research, and • Research leadership roles

This presentation acknowledges the theme of the conference to explore culture and sustainable development in community by identifying challenges and opportunities in the past, present and future. It is proposed that the application of rigorous analytical inquiry results in quality qualitative research that can contribute to social impact.
