Abstract

This review describes reported syntheses and reactions of bicyclic 6-6 rings systems containing two heteroatoms from 2008 to 2020. Nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur bicyclic systems are included. Methodology development for these cyclic systems as well as applications to natural products syntheses (e.g. lycojapodine A, communesins, katsumadain, goniomitine) for targets that contain these entities are detailed.
