Abstract

ICASL is an annual international event devoted to shipping and logistics studies. It aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, policy makers, specialists, and practitioners working in port, shipping, aviation transportation and logistics. We are expecting a wide range of attendances from Asia-Pacific and other overseas regions to this coming event.

It is our great pleasure to organize the 12th International Conference of Asian Shipping and Logistics (ICASL 2019) from June 27 to June 29, 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Conference will be jointly organized by Korean Association of Shipping and Logistics, Inc., Maritime and Port Logistics Expert Training Program in INU funded by Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of Korea, Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority in Korea, and School of Business & Management, RMIT University Vietnam. The theme of 2019 conference is “The changes and role of shipping and seaport in the 4th industrial revolution”. Selected papers will be published in Special Issue of The Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics.
