Abstract
Denise Craig, OAM, investigated North Queensland hospital doctors' response to Advance Care Plans of patients with neurodegenerative illness. She found that doctors favoured shared decision-making with families over Advance Care Plans. Results may inform policy and practice initiatives to improve alignment between the premise of Advance Care Plans, and medical practice.
